After an initial, no-obligation conversation, if you would like me to be your celebrant we will arrange a discovery meeting — either in person or online, whichever suits you best. This is a gentle, unhurried time for you, your family and close friends to share memories, stories and the details that shaped the life of the person you’ve lost.

Together, we will outline the shape of the service, including any music, readings or personal touches you wish to include. The discovery meeting also allows me to learn about your loved one so that I can write — or help you write — a eulogy that honours their life and reflects their character with sincerity and warmth. We can also talk through who may like to speak on the day, or whether you would prefer me to deliver any tributes on your behalf.

On the day of the funeral, I will arrive early to welcome those gathering to say their goodbyes. I will lead the ceremony with care and clarity, and support anyone who wishes to speak.

After the service, I will remain with you to offer support as you meet and receive mourners before you depart.
